Old Toongabbie Pharmacy sits in the shops on Fitzwilliam Road, and it works the way a local pharmacy should. You walk in, you talk to a pharmacist, you get an answer. No ticket number, no waiting room.
Alongside the dispensary we vaccinate, run health checks, set up dose administration aids and sit down with people to go through everything they’re taking. If something is outside what a pharmacist can help with, we’ll say so plainly and point you to the right person.

Questions people ask before coming in
Do I need an appointment?
For most things, no. Dispensing, pharmacist advice and over-the-counter questions are walk-in any time we’re open. Vaccinations, consultations and health checks can be booked online so you’re seen at a set time — worth doing if you’re on a tight schedule.
How long will my script take?
Usually a few minutes. Bring the paper script in or forward your eScript token and it’s generally ready while you have a look around. If we need to order something in, it’s normally here the next business day and we’ll text you.
Can I move my scripts from another pharmacy?
Yes, and it’s straightforward. Bring in your repeats, or tell us where they’re held and we’ll sort it out with you. There’s no paperwork on your side and nothing to cancel.
Do I need a GP referral for a vaccination?
No. Our pharmacists are trained immunisers and can vaccinate without a referral. Eligibility depends on your age and the vaccine — if you’re not sure, give us a call or book a consultation and we’ll work it out with you.
Where do I shop for products online?
