What we do

Pharmacy services

Everything below happens in store at Shop 2, 58–62 Fitzwilliam Road. Some services you can book online in advance; for the rest, walk in any day we’re open and ask for the pharmacist.

Prescriptions & eScripts

Bring your paper script in, forward your eScript token, or ask us to hold your repeats so they’re here when you need them. Most scripts are dispensed while you have a look around; anything we need to order is usually in the next business day and we’ll let you know when it arrives.

Moving your scripts from another pharmacy is straightforward — bring in your repeats or tell us where they’re held and we’ll take it from there. There’s nothing for you to cancel and no paperwork on your side.

Vaccinations & immunisations

Our pharmacists are trained immunisers, so you don’t need a GP referral. We give seasonal flu vaccinations, COVID-19 vaccinations, and vaccinations funded under the National Immunisation Program for people who are eligible.

Private immunisations — the ones that aren’t government funded — are given by consultation. A service fee applies and the current fee is shown when you book.

Booking online means you come in at a set time and you’re usually done in about fifteen minutes, including the short wait afterwards. If you’re not sure what you’re eligible for, book a consultation or call us and we’ll work it out with you.

Travel health & travel vaccinations

Tell us where you’re going and when you fly, and we’ll work backwards from your departure date. A travel consultation covers the vaccinations you need for your destination, the travel medicines worth carrying, and what belongs in a first aid kit for the trip.

Some travel vaccinations need more than one dose or a few weeks to take effect, so it’s worth booking as soon as your trip is confirmed rather than the week before you leave.

Pharmacist consultations

Sometimes you need more than a quick answer at the counter. A booked consultation gives you a private conversation with a pharmacist about a health concern, a new medicine, or something that hasn’t been sitting right.

Under the New South Wales pharmacist prescribing framework, community pharmacists can assess and treat a defined set of conditions without a GP referral. Ask us whether what you need falls inside that scope — if it doesn’t, we’ll tell you plainly and point you to a doctor.

Medication management

If you or someone you care for takes several medicines a day, a dose administration aid takes the guesswork out of it. A week of medicines is sorted by day and by dose, packed and checked here, and ready to collect on the same day each week.

We can also sit down and go through everything you’re taking — prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, vitamins and supplements — to check nothing is working against anything else, and to write it all down in one place for your GP.

Health screening

Health checks you can do while you’re here, with a pharmacist to explain what the numbers actually mean and what to do next. Blood pressure is the one most people come in for — it takes a couple of minutes and it’s worth doing regularly, especially if you’re already on treatment for it.

If a result is outside the range we’d expect, we’ll say so, write it down for you, and help you get in front of a GP.

Everyday advice

A pharmacist is available every day we’re open, and advice is free. Coughs and colds, hay fever, kids’ fevers, a rash you can’t place, a new medicine you’re unsure about, or a second opinion on something you’ve been handed — ask. If it needs a doctor, we’ll say so.
